As a last stop before heading back to London, Start Keflavik Airport was the perfect choice. Just 15 minutes by taxi from the airport, it was also conveniently located near major campervan rentals. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a huge bathtub. The staff were friendly and went the extra mile to assist us, even helping us print our boarding passes. The hotel offered free Wi-Fi, a cozy living room, and a kitchen with complimentary tea and coffee. Breakfast was served early and included fresh fruit and delicious muffins. A great value for the money!

I got amazing value for my money at Start Keflavik Airport. The room was comfortable and clean, with spacious bathrooms and great shower pressure. The location was convenient and the staff treated me with fantastic hospitality.

The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The staff at the reception were always available and super helpful. The bathrooms were clean and there were options to buy snacks and drinks. While there wasn't a restaurant, there was affordable snack food available. The location was perfect for an early flight, and transportation options were readily available. we highly recommend this hotel for its great service and convenience.

They upgraded me to a private room and even allowed me to store my cold items in the freezer. the hostess went above and beyond by offering a free shuttle service to the airport. the room itself was spacious, clean, and had all the basic amenities I needed. the sitting area in front of the counter was a great place to relax and chat with friends, especially with the accessible WiFi throughout the hostel. Another highlight was the second living room upstairs with a TV and board games, along with a pantry equipped with full facilities and cutlery. the breakfast provided was also sufficient to start the day.

One downside I experienced was the location, particularly if you rely on public transportation during the weekend in the off-season. Buses near the hotel only ran every 2 hours, which caused inconvenience.

I had a 15-hour stopover in Iceland and chose Start Keflavik Airport for its convenient location. The rooms were clean, and the coffee space was warm and inviting. The staff, especially the girl at the concierge and the helpful old lady in the morning, were absolutely adorable. I also appreciated the early breakfast, which allowed me to leave with a nice coffee and a full belly.

We also loved the convenient location, making it easy to reach the airport and explore the surrounding area. we were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to others.

There were a few minor issues. the driving directions to the hotel could have been more clear and the parking sign could have been larger and more visible.

As young travelers, we absolutely loved the laid-back vibe and friendly staff at Start Hostel! The rooms were spacious and cozy, even for a dormitory. The complimentary breakfast was a nourishing selection, and the 24/7 availability of free coffee and tea was a great perk. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. the hostel provided a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

The location of the hotel was incredibly convenient, especially for those with early flights. Being so close to the airport made it hassle-free to catch my flight without worrying about long travel times. one of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary breakfast. Unlike many other accommodations that I had stayed in during my time in Iceland, this hotel actually included a delicious and varied breakfast selection. It was a great way to start the day without having to seek out a separate place to eat.

The hotel lacked any sort of character or charm, giving off more of an impersonal, college dorm vibe. It was definitely not a cozy or homey atmosphere.
